Historic/Controversial Art

CONTROVERSIAL:

This photo was taken by an unknown author. “George W Bush killed hundreds of thousands of people with his phony war in Iraq, destroyed the economy, ruled with arrogance and catered only to his “base” while lowering taxes for the wealthy. If a condemnation is in order then the “pastor” has much to choose from in the case of Mr. Bush and his record. However, since the pastor and Bush appear to be of the same political and faith based agenda, then the current President will continue to undergo further attacks by fundamentalist wackos”

Unfinished Music No.1: Two Virgins is an album released by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1968. The result of an all-night session of musical experimentation in Lennon's home studio at Kenwood, John and Yoko's debut album is known not only for its avant garde content, but also for its cover. The album's title came from the couple's feeling that they were "two innocents, lost in a world gone mad", and because after making the recording, the two consummated their relationship for the first time.

HISTORIC:

The Statue of Liberty was dedicated to the U.S. on October 28, 1886, it is a monument commemorating the centennial of the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence given to the United States by the people of France to represent the friendship between the two countries established during the American Revolution.

This picture represents a piece of history because it show's the progress that we as Americans have made. We went from being supporters of slavery to having an African American as our president.
